Sticking to his belief instead of being a follower, he chose his own road and insisted on. After nearly a half century's effort, he finally set up an indeed grand artistic monument within this unnoticed realm. The apples and pears in Wang's paintings are no longer objects in themselves but spiritual indications and symbols of personality. German aesthetician F.T.Vischer remarked: the most superb art is an art which aims at the most superb personality.
